Payments, Fees & Payouts Policy

Version 1.0
Last Updated:
September 17, 2026
This Payments, Fees & Payouts Policy explains the rules governing payments, Dapeswe fees, refunds, payment disputes and payouts in connection with Dapeswe. This Policy forms part of the applicable agreement with DAPESWE LTD ("Dapeswe") and should be read together with the Dapeswe Terms of Use, Vendor Agreement and any Additional Terms applicable to the relevant Service.
  1. PAYMENT SERVICES
Dapeswe provides payment functionality as part of certain Services and uses third-party payment infrastructure, including Stripe, to process payments and facilitate payouts. Users may be required to provide information, complete verification or accept terms required by the applicable payment provider. Where a Vendor receives payouts through Stripe Connect, the Vendor may also be subject to the applicable Stripe terms governing its connected account and use of Stripe services. Dapeswe does not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every transaction. Payment methods, payment providers and payment functionality may change as the platform develops.
  1. DAPESWE FEES
Unless different terms are expressly displayed or agreed for a particular Service or transaction, Dapeswe charges a 4% platform fee on paid transactions processed through applicable Dapeswe Services. The platform fee is charged for access to and use of Dapeswe's commercial infrastructure and may apply to functionality including marketplace transactions, packages, paid events and other paid Services. Additional payment processing fees may apply. Payment processing fees are separate from the Dapeswe platform fee and may depend on the payment provider, payment method, transaction type, currency or other circumstances. The applicable fees will be displayed or otherwise made available to the relevant Business User where appropriate. Dapeswe may introduce different fees, promotional rates, waived fees or other pricing arrangements for particular Services, transactions, users or programmes. Any different rate applicable to a transaction will apply as communicated for that transaction or Service. Unless otherwise stated, fees are exclusive of VAT or other taxes that may be applicable.
  1. HOW FEES ARE COLLECTED
Applicable Dapeswe fees and payment processing costs may be deducted from transaction proceeds before the remaining amount becomes available for payout. A Vendor authorises Dapeswe and its applicable payment providers to make deductions permitted under the Dapeswe terms, including applicable:
  • platform fees;
  • payment processing fees;
  • refunds;
  • chargebacks and payment disputes;
  • reversals;
  • adjustments; and
  • other amounts properly due in connection with Dapeswe transactions.
The amount paid by a Customer or other payer may therefore differ from the amount ultimately available for payout to the Vendor. Transaction and fee information may be displayed through the applicable Dapeswe account or financial interface.
  1. PAYOUT ACCOUNTS
A Vendor must establish and maintain an eligible payout account before receiving payouts where required by Dapeswe. Dapeswe currently uses Stripe Connect in connection with Vendor payouts. The Vendor may be required to provide information directly through Stripe functionality and complete identity, business, banking or other checks required for the connected account. The Vendor is responsible for ensuring that its payout information remains accurate and current. Dapeswe may be unable to initiate a payout where required payment information or verification is incomplete, inaccurate or no longer valid. A Vendor may disconnect its connected payment account subject to outstanding transactions, balances, refunds, disputes and other applicable obligations. Disconnecting a payment account does not extinguish amounts already owed or obligations arising from previous transactions.
  1. BALANCES AND PAYOUT AVAILABILITY
A transaction being successfully paid does not necessarily mean that the corresponding Vendor proceeds are immediately available for payout. Depending on the Service, funds may pass through different transaction or availability states before becoming eligible for payout. Dapeswe may make proceeds available for payout only after conditions applicable to the relevant Service have been satisfied. For example, under Services where payment relates to later fulfilment or redemption, payout availability may depend on confirmation that the relevant obligation has been performed. Additional settlement or security periods may apply under the relevant Additional Terms. Funds may also remain unavailable or become restricted where reasonably necessary in connection with:
  • an incomplete transaction;
  • a refund or cancellation;
  • a complaint or dispute;
  • a chargeback;
  • suspected fraud or misuse;
  • account or payment verification;
  • unusual transaction activity;
  • an account restriction;
  • an outstanding amount owed to Dapeswe; or
  • another matter reasonably requiring payment review.
The existence of a balance displayed through Dapeswe does not by itself mean that the entire balance is immediately eligible for payout.
  1. PAYOUTS
Eligible Vendor proceeds may be paid to the Vendor's connected payout account after applicable fees, deductions and restrictions have been taken into account. The current minimum amount for a Vendor-initiated withdrawal is £1.01. Amounts below the applicable minimum may remain available until the minimum is reached or another permitted payout arrangement applies. A first payout may be subject to manual review before it is approved. Subsequent payouts may generally be processed without manual approval unless additional review is reasonably required. Dapeswe may review or temporarily restrict a payout where necessary for security, fraud prevention, verification, dispute management, compliance or platform-integrity purposes. Once a payout has been initiated, the time required for funds to reach the Vendor's bank account may depend on Stripe, the banking system, weekends, bank holidays and other circumstances outside Dapeswe's control. Dapeswe does not guarantee a bank-crediting time after a payout has been transmitted to the applicable payment provider.
  1. SERVICE-SPECIFIC PAYOUT CONDITIONS
Different Dapeswe Services may have different rules determining when Vendor proceeds become eligible for payout. Those rules are described in the Additional Terms applicable to the relevant Service. For example, where a Service requires the Vendor to fulfil or redeem something after payment has been made, the applicable Additional Terms may provide that proceeds become eligible only after confirmed fulfilment and an additional settlement period. Service-specific payout rules supplement this Policy. If a specific payout condition in applicable Additional Terms differs from the general provisions of this Policy, the specific rule applies to the relevant Service.
  1. REFUNDS
Refunds may be available or required according to:
  • applicable law;
  • the Dapeswe Terms of Use;
  • applicable Additional Terms;
  • the terms governing the relevant transaction; or
  • a decision properly made by the Vendor or Dapeswe under those terms.
Where a refund is issued, the relevant amount may be deducted from transaction proceeds, an available or restricted balance, future amounts payable to the Vendor or another permitted source. Where Dapeswe has not yet paid the relevant proceeds to the Vendor, the refund may be funded from those proceeds. Where the relevant proceeds have already been paid out, the Vendor remains responsible for any refund amount for which the Vendor is responsible under the applicable terms. Dapeswe fees and third-party processing fees may be treated differently when a transaction is refunded. Whether a fee is returned, credited or remains payable depends on the applicable fee terms and payment-provider rules. A refund does not necessarily result in the return of every fee originally associated with the transaction.
  1. CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
A payer may in some circumstances challenge a payment through their bank, card issuer or payment provider. A chargeback or other payment dispute is separate from Dapeswe's internal complaint or refund process and may be determined by the relevant payment institution or payment network. A Vendor must reasonably cooperate with requests for information or evidence relating to a payment dispute involving its transaction. Where a chargeback, dispute, reversal or associated fee is attributable to a Vendor transaction, Dapeswe may restrict the corresponding amount while the matter is being reviewed. If the disputed amount is ultimately recoverable from the Vendor under the applicable Dapeswe terms, Dapeswe may deduct that amount and any applicable dispute costs from amounts otherwise payable to the Vendor. A payment institution's decision may be outside Dapeswe's control.
  1. NEGATIVE BALANCES AND AMOUNTS OWED
Refunds, chargebacks, disputes, reversals, fees or adjustments may cause a Vendor's available balance to become negative or result in an amount being owed to Dapeswe. Where this occurs, Dapeswe may recover the amount from:
  • other available Vendor balances;
  • future transaction proceeds;
  • future payouts;
  • amounts otherwise payable to the Vendor; or
  • direct repayment by the Vendor.
Dapeswe may temporarily restrict payouts or relevant commercial functionality while a material overdue balance remains unpaid. The Vendor remains responsible for amounts properly due even if the Vendor stops using Dapeswe, disconnects its payment account or closes its Vendor relationship. Dapeswe may take reasonable steps to recover unpaid amounts.
  1. REFUNDS OR ADJUSTMENTS BY DAPESWE
Dapeswe may issue or facilitate a refund, reversal or financial adjustment where permitted by the applicable Dapeswe terms. This may include circumstances involving:
  • failure to provide the relevant product, service, package or event;
  • cancellation;
  • a valid Customer claim;
  • a material difference between what was offered and what was provided;
  • fraud or unauthorised activity;
  • a payment dispute;
  • a Vendor becoming unable or unwilling to fulfil an outstanding obligation; or
  • another circumstance in which a refund or adjustment is required by applicable law or Dapeswe terms.
Where the Vendor is responsible for the underlying amount, Dapeswe may recover it in accordance with this Policy. Dapeswe's ability to issue or facilitate a refund does not make Dapeswe the seller, supplier or organiser of the underlying transaction.
  1. PAYMENT REVIEWS AND RESTRICTIONS
Dapeswe may use payment, account, transaction and risk information to protect users and the platform against fraud, payment loss and misuse. A payment, balance or payout may be reviewed or temporarily restricted where reasonably necessary. Dapeswe does not disclose internal risk thresholds or detailed fraud-prevention criteria where doing so could undermine those controls. A review may result in a request for additional information or verification. Dapeswe will seek to remove a payment restriction when the reason for the restriction has been resolved and no other basis for the restriction remains.
  1. TAXES
Vendors are responsible for understanding and meeting the tax obligations applicable to their business and transactions. Dapeswe may collect, retain or report transaction, fee or Vendor information where required by applicable law. Where Dapeswe is legally required to calculate, collect, withhold, report or remit a tax or other amount, Dapeswe may take the steps required to comply with that obligation. Nothing in this Policy constitutes tax advice.
  1. PLATFORM CREDITS
Dapeswe may make Platform Credits available in connection with promotions, adjustments, rewards or other platform functionality. Unless expressly stated otherwise:
  • Platform Credits are not money;
  • they have no cash value;
  • they cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash;
  • they are not transferable between users; and
  • they may only be used in accordance with the terms under which they were issued.
Platform Credits do not form part of a Vendor payout balance. Dapeswe may correct or remove Platform Credits issued as a result of error, fraud, misuse or another invalid transaction.
  1. CHANGES TO FEES
Dapeswe may change its fees or introduce new charges for Services. Where a change affects future Vendor transactions, Dapeswe will provide information about the new fee before it applies in accordance with the applicable contractual requirements. A fee change does not retrospectively alter the fee applicable to a completed transaction unless an adjustment is required because of an error, refund, reversal, dispute or other matter affecting that transaction. Promotional, negotiated or Service-specific rates may have their own duration or conditions.
